Attestat o Srednem Obshchem Obrazovanii* *Proof of university entrance may be required. AUC students have on average a secondary school GPA of ≥ 3.0 (≥7.5 in the Dutch system, ≥ 5 for IB, ≥ 10 for Abitur). You have a recent TOEFL score (internet-based) of 100 or higher. You have a recent IELTS score of at least 7.0 overall (with at least 7 in each of the four components). You have a Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) at grade A. You have a Cambridge Certificate for Proficiency in English (CPE) at grade C or higher.If you want to major in the Humanities, the following are accepted as proof that you meet the maths requirements. You need to meet these requirements if you want to focus on subjects such as film, literature, history, culture, philosophy, art history, communication: Final (rounded) grade 8 or higher in VWO maths level C (wiskunde C)* Grade 7, International Baccalaureate Mathematical Studies Grade A, (I)GCSE maths Average grade 11 or higher in maths in the German Abitur 600 or higher in the SAT Subject Test Mathematics Level 1 or in the mathematics section of the SAT reasoning test (see link below, AUC's College Board code is 6700). SAT for Humanities majors.

Do you have broad interests, enjoy discussions and debates, like to be challenged and feel at home in an international environment? AUC offers a Bachelor (Honours) degree programme in the liberal arts and sciences, taught in English, and open to both Dutch and international students. As a student at AUC, you will learn to analyse complex issues from different perspectives by drawing on various academic fields of knowledge. Discussions start with the ‘big questions’ in science and society and lead to in-depth study in a wide range of academic disciplines.

Расположение

Амстердам – крупный культурный и интеллектуальный центр Западной Европы, привлекающий студентов со всего мира идеальной академической средой. Он занял 11 место из 200 возможных в списке городов с высоким качеством жизни исследования Mercer’s 2015 global ‘Quality of Living Survey’.

Значительное число студентов, преподавателей, административных сотрудников живут в историческом центре города, многие сооружения которого датируются началом XIV века и включены в список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Архитектурная стилистика университетских зданий варьируется от Северного Ренессанса до барокко до Ар деко и амстердамской школы.

Основной вид транспорта в Амстердаме - велосипед. Но и другие виды общественного транспорта - метро, трамваи, автобусы - также доступны студентам.
