This is a collaborative programme between the Police Academy of the Netherlands and CCCU; it has been validated by both the Canterbury Christ Church University and the NVAO (Dutch- Flemish Accreditation Organisation); because of its international and comparative character the European credit system (ECTS) is also used in addition to the UK system: throughout 1 ECTS is equivalent to 3 UK credits; the programme aims at an academic understanding of issues that are important to the police, their partners and the public; students learn to transform academic findings into operational recommendations, scenarios or project plans; convert policing outcomes or investigations into managerial reports; research and develop policing strategies; carry out evaluations or case studies as a basis for new policing concepts; act as an advisor, discussant or negotiator for decision-makers of the police and other public agencies; play a role in international police cooperation.

Студенческий городок North Holmes расположен в центре города Кентербери. В городе находится железнодорожные и автовокзалы; через него пролегают дороги в направлении Лондона и портов. Другие студенческие городки: Medway Campus, Broadstairs Campus, Salomons и Folkestone, которым Университет владеет совместно с университетом Greenwich.
