1st Class or upper 2nd Class Honours degree; students with significant work experience and/or other qualifications are considered on their merits; some relevant experience in a related area, such as agriculture, property management, law and planning is also expected, particularly for those students who have non-cognate degrees.

The course enables students to acquire the specialised knowledge and skills necessary for professional practice as a rural property manager and for entry to the relevant professional bodies being the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
