Compulsory modules (90 credits) may include: Corrosion and corrosion control; structural response analysis; dynamics of offshore installations; theory of plates and grillages; fundamentals of pipeline engineering; pipeline structural analysis; optimal marine design; research skills; plus 1 optional module (10 credits) from a list typically including: design and construction; marine management technology 2; surveying ships and offshore installations; preliminary year: provides students with the necessary knowledge to study at Master’s level: students select 1 module (20 credits) from: marine engineering design; marine design; offshore design; small craft design; plus 70 credits of optional modules and complete a project and report (30 credits).
