Students completing this programme will be able to: use existing technologies; contribute to the design and development of new technologies and devices in this field and to understand and use them as they emerge; develop new technologies to extract various forms of energy from diverse energy sources; use existing and design new energy conversion devices as necessary; and use them for the long-term benefit of mankind, with particular emphasis on preserving and improving the environment, while utilising renewable energy sources in a sustainable manner.
