A Level AAA including two science subjects.
International Baccalaureate 36 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects including 6 in two Higher Level science subjects.
BTEC Distinction, Distinction, Distinction in a relevant subject including sufficient science content at Distinction. BTEC qualifications will be considered on individual basis to assess eligibility.
Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject including Distinctions in the majority of units. Access qualifications will be considered on individual basis to assess eligibility. Essential Subjects:
A range of Advanced/Higher Level subjects, including two sciences from Biology, Environmental Science, Human Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Geography, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics or Psychology is required for entry.
GCSE Mathematics (B).
IELTS 6.5 (with at least 5.5 in each component). Russian applicants: The Attestat is not sufficient for entry; applicants must complete an additional qualification such as a Foundation Year.

This degree offers you a diverse choice of modules in genetics, biomedicine, microbiology, ecology, physiology and conservation. You will follow the same curriculum as the students studying the BSc course but will have the opportunity to focus on particular areas of interest to you in your final year. You will also carry out an extended laboratory or field-based project.
You start your Biological Sciences degree studying modules such as Cell Structure and Function and Evolutionary Biology. The flexible nature of the course enables you to transfer to one of our more specialised degree programmes after your first year.
In your second year, you can take modules including Medical Microbiology and Populations to Ecosystems. In your third year we offer you courses including Biology of Ageing and Global Change Biology.
On this four-year MSci Hons course you will follow the same curriculum as the students studying the BSc course but will have the opportunity to focus on particular areas of interest to you in your final year. You will also carry out an extended laboratory or field-based project.
