This course enables you to explore how to make better use of research and innovation to improve ways in which health care is organised and delivered for patient benefit. Improvement Science draws on knowledge from a wide range of disciplines and sectors, using methods derived from the social sciences and the ‘hard’ sciences with a foundation based on concepts of managing change and service improvement. It is work-based, requiring you to identify and implement service improvement projects in your own work context. The overall course is designed to focus on key concepts: -Improvement science concepts -Evidence-based approaches -Quality improvement and measurement -Managing change The Postgraduate Diploma includes: -Work-based enquiry methods for investigating innovations and improvement projects -Work-based health care innovation and improvement projects, varying in size and scope depending on the target award.

Расположение
