Вступительные требования

A bachelor’s degree from a university, equivalent to the level of a Dutch academic bachelor’s degree Knowledge, understanding and skills comparable to those acquired upon graduating from the Bachelor’s programme in English Language and Culture from Leiden University. Sufficient command of English (IELTS 7.5, TOEFL 113 (internet-based) or Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE); a minimum score of IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 25 is required for each of the four components).

The Master’s in Linguistics specialisation in English Language and Linguistics at Leiden University offers a wide array of topics ranging from how language and people influence each other to what the various functions of language are. The programme covers theoretical, applied, historical and socio-historical linguistics, building on the current linguistic research being conducted at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL), one of the largest linguistics institutes in the Netherlands and home to some of continental Europe’s finest English scholars.

Wageningen University is in Wageningen, a historic town in the centre of the Netherlands. Several bus companies serve the area and the local train station is 8 km north of the town.Most international students arrive via Schiphol airport wherefrom there is a train link to Ede-Wageningen station. The university is then reachable by bus or taxi.
