3 compulsory modules covering: Issues and ideas; management; communication and interpretation; plus 2 specialised modules from topics such as: the relationship between art galleries and visual art practices; changing practices in gallery and art museum education; learning theories and their use in the gallery and art museum environment; the relationship between education and curating; critical issues in the discourses surrounding visual art practices, exhibition and display; marketing, publicity and audience development; new trends in commissioning art through educational programming and fostering cultural diversity in public programming.
Вступительные требования
A 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as fine/applied art, history of art; professionals with considerable work experience in the art museum/gallery sector are considered; some gallery or museum experience, for example as a volunteer, is preferred; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in writing, TOEFL 90 (internet-based), 577 (paper-based), or equivalent.
