Childhood and Youth Studies is an interdisciplinary MA addressing the span of childhood from birth to the age of 18. The course is designed to provide an excellent grounding for those wishing to pursue, or develop further, their skills and careers as practitioners or researchers working with children and young people or providing services for them. Through the course we explore alternative conceptions of childhood and youth and consider children and young people's lives and experiences through the social, economic, technological and global contexts in which they are situated.
