Students from foreign education systems must have validated high school or university diploma. It is recommended that students who wish to study for a degree in Chemistry have a basic scientific-technical education, and should have studied, at least, the subjects Mathematics II, Physics and Chemistry in their second year of the high school diploma course. Students must have adequate knowledge of the language in which the lessons are taught (must take a language proficiency test or have at least B1 certificate).
The fundamental objective of the Degree is to produce professionals with a scientific and technological profile, and with a comprehensive knowledge of all areas related to Chemistry. The ultimate aims are to contribute to achieving maximum use of natural resources, minimum generation of pollutants, and the recovery and management of industrial waste, and to promote ethical commitment among future professionals to human rights and environmental sustainability.
