The course provides students with broad knowledge and in-depth understanding of: textile management issues in competitive textile markets; advanced textile processes and quality management; the science, technology and testing of functional textile materials, their associated products and markets; the science, technology and testing of performance clothing and their markets; particular emphasis is placed on emerging applications for innovative products; students also receive training in basic generic skills including problem solving; reasoning and information and communication technologies relevant to the aims and objectives of the course.

Расположение

Университетский городок находятся в 20 минутах ходьбы от вокзала города Лидса. Вокзал Лидса соединяет вуз со всеми крупными городами Великобритании, и имеет быстрое сообщение с Лондоном.

Лидс обслуживают два больших аэропорта: Лидс Бредфорд и Манчестер. Совершаются регулярные рейсы из множества городов Европы и мира. От аэропорта Бредфорд примерно 20 минут на такси до Университета.
