Molecular biology as a branch of biology has increased in significance over the past few years. It deals with living organisms and life processes on a subcellular, molecular level. The course teaches the basics of biology and related sciences such as chemistry, physics, and mathematics, then builds on this with specific knowledge from the field of molecular biology. Practice-orientation and knowledge of methods are especially important here.
