The course aims to provide students from a range of different backgrounds with a realistic overview of employment opportunities within the equine industry, and enhance the specific practical competencies, study skills and academic knowledge necessary for career development or progression to another higher education course of study; the combination of practical, scientific and management-based modules within the course provides a broad basis of study from which to progress, in terms of career development, further study/equine qualifications, or individual business/leisure interests.
