Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average: 3.0 or equivalent required, 2.75 will be considered for students possessing STEM degrees. Graduate Record Examination (GRE): Required (apart from exceptional cases) - no minimum score set; however, a high quantitative score is expected (80 percentile or above). Students can request a waiver; such waivers will only be granted for highly qualified applicants. TOEFL for Non-Native English Speakers: Minimum Paper-Based Test (PBT) Score Required: 600 Minimum Internet-Based Test (IBT) Overall Score Required: 93 With the following minimum section requirements: Reading: 22 Listening: 18 Speaking: 22 Writing: 20 IELTS (Academic Module): An alternative to the TOEFL, scores of 7.5 or higher will be accepted, with a 7.0 required per each section. Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic Module): An alternative to the TOEFL, scores of 70 or higher will be accepted

Расположение

Purdue's campus is situated in the small city of West Lafayette, near the western bank of the Wabash River, across which sits the larger city of Lafayette. Academic buildings are mostly concentrated on the eastern and southern parts of campus, with residence halls and intramural fields to the west, and athletic facilities to the north. The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (CityBus) operates eight campus loop bus routes on which students, faculty, and staff can ride free of charge with Purdue Identification.


The main campus in West Lafayette offers more than 200 majors for undergraduates, over 70 master’s and doctoral programs, and professional degrees in pharmacy and veterinary medicine. In addition, Purdue has 18 intercollegiate sports teams and more than 900 student organizations.
