Вступительные требования

GCSE mathematics at C grade or equivalent (eg numeracy level 2); plus GCSE English at C grade or equivalent (eg literacy level 2); if teaching a practical vocational subject (eg NVQ levels 1-3): an appropriate level 3 vocational qualification; if teaching an academic vocational subject (eg BND): an appropriate level 4 vocational qualification; if teaching an academic subject (eg A-levels): an appropriate qualification at level 5; the following entry requirements require a letter from the students' workplace confirming the provision is available: minimum of 100 hours of teaching in each year of study; a mentor in the workplace who is a qualified teacher/lecturer at stage 3 (PGCE or Cert.Ed.) and where possible is a subject specialist in the same area as the trainee teacher; where the mentor is not a subject specialist the trainee teacher will require the support of a named subject coach; applicants need to be teaching (to groups of 8 or more people); prior teaching experience can be discussed at interview.
