The aim of this course is to provide a thorough grounding in the discipline of law; students learn a combination of the mechanisms of law and substantive law together with many other relevant disciplines; the requirement is to pass all assessments and examinations in the foundations of legal knowledge and the degree must be completed within a specific time-frame; the qualifying law degree contains the exemption subjects required in order to take the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to become a solicitor and to take the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) to become a barrister.
