A university degree in a related subject is required (grade 2.3/B or above) with a standard period of study 6 semesters (e.g. a Bachelor degree, Magister Artium or State teaching qualification). A lower mark can be compensated for with a better result in previous German degree studies (grade 2.0/B or above).
Linguistic proficiency: Two foreign languages are required at level B2 on the scale of the Common European Framework of Reference (Latin or Greek). Foreign applicants have to provide evidence a command of German at C1 level.
