For students starting their undergraduate study in 2012, the Faculty of Social Sciences is offering up to five competitive Masters Scholarships to students whose performance is exceptional during their first degree and who choose to remain at the University of Essex in the same department to study for a Masters.

Our Art History Scholarship is provided to encourage students to realise their full potential and to help with the costs of further study. This scholarship will entitle all eligible students to a 50% contribution towards the  tuition fee for one-year MA courses in the School of Philosophy and Art History.

Ten scholarships of £5,000 each, funded by Santander Group, are available for taught Masters study at Essex for 2012-13. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, to students who would not otherwise be able to take up a place at Essex and who reside in Russia.
