Вступительные требования

A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree*, or equivalent diploma in (European) Law. Students with a degree in Politics, Governance, International Relations, Liberal Arts or equivalent, with a substantial number of courses in Law, are also eligible for admission to this specialisation. These students should provide proof of their knowledge of the basic concepts of Law. Non-native speakers of English** need to proof their proficiency by one of the following tests: • A TOEFL score with a minimum score of 90 overall (internet-based, with a minimum of 23 for writing) or 575 (paper-based). The institutional TOEFL code for Radboud University is 3387; or • An IELTS score with a minimum of 6.5 overall (with a minimum score of 6.0 minimum for the components listening, reading and speaking and a 6.5 minimum for writing); or • A Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) with a grade A, B or C or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a grade of A, B, or C.

This specialisation offers a unique multidisciplinary programme combining the study of European law and political science. It focuses on the main challenges facing the EU in the 21st century, and looks at the various legal rules and policy options that may be developed in response. Why study European Law and Global Affairs at Radboud University? The programme has been specifically designed for students that want to extend their knowledge of European Law, but are also interested in studying the international relations of the European Union from other academic perspectives. The specialisation enables you to develop a broad perspective on the role of the EU on the global scene.

Расположение

All the university buildings and facilities, and the university hospital are located on the former Heyendael estate in Nijmegen, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. Nijmegen lies close to the border with Germany, on the banks of the River Waal. It is about 1.5 hours by train from Amerstdam Schiphol airport, and around 45 minutes by bus from Airport Weeze in Germany. Nijmegen is a lively college town with some great neighborhoods. There are grocery stores, bakeries and drug stores in most neighborhoods, so you are never far from the basics.The city is easily accessible by train and car. Cycling is the best way to get around Nijmegen. There is a bus service, but no tram or metro.
