Units include single-phase AC circuits and electricity power systems; these units are designed to enable candidates to develop knowledge and understanding and apply basic electrical concepts and theorems to the solution of simple electrical problems; mathematics for engineering is also included and this unit helps students apply algebraic techniques to manipulate expressions and solve equations commonly found in engineering.
