Fiction and poetry, which consist of writing workshops; a module on narratology and poetics, which offers a theoretical approach to the writing process; a module on the contemporary publishing industry, the role of the literary agent and the production and marketing of literary work; writing portfolio forms the 'dissertation' element of the programme; students are able to take up to 2 other relevant modules from the existing list offered in the Department of English.
