The course combines practical skills in radio; television; and desk-top publishing; with an understanding of the institutional and theoretical context of the media; students cover a wide variety of subjects; 5 modules in the 1st year; 6 modules in the 2nd year and 4 modules in the 3rd year; exit points at the end of the 1st year (certificate in higher education) and the end of the 2nd year (fiploma in higher education); this is a 3 year course when studied full-time.
