This course is specifically designed for people who have managerial responsibilities; it is a competence based qualification and is the preferred management qualification designed to help students meet the national standards used by NCSC; it includes a broad range of management skills but is clearly based in the context of care services; it helps managers to prepare for and meet the emerging regulatory requirements in the care services including people with learning disabilities and those with mental health problems.
