Audio technology: Students undertake practical work in laboratories and studios on sampling; recording; production; synthesis; sequencing and editing; ensuring that the requirements of the creative performer are also catered for; multimedia and video production are also covered; creative music technology: the course is comprised of a number of modules aimed at equipping students with the necessary theoretical knowledge; aesthetic understanding and technical skills to apply their learning to creative ends within a technological environment; the course is not designed to simply teach students a number of commercial applications of technology to music; but rather challenges students to find their own path of creativity; informed by a thorough knowledge and understanding of the creative possibilities of sound and its relation to other disciplines.

Throughout the course students investigate proprietary hardware and software as applied to musical production and performance; students have the opportunity; and are encouraged, to learn as much as possible about technology and music; and the ways in which they can be combined to explore new musical concepts.

Расположение

Наши основные кампусы расположены в Кембридже и Челмсфорде, оба в часе езды на поезде от Центрального Лондона. Кембридж расположен всего лишь в часе езды на поезде от Лондона, до него можно доехать по трассе M11. Из Челмсфорда можно быстро добраться до Лондона, всего лишь за 30 минут на поезде, город имеет хорошее транспортное обеспечение со всей страной.
