Programme offers an integrated professional and scientific education in optometry, with an emphasis on clinical practice; throughout the programme students are taught techniques of general eye examination, fitting and aftercare of contact lenses, the investigation of visual problems and the management of patient care, and there is a 1-week full-time placement in a hospital eye department.

Расположение

Академгородок университета Астон уникально расположен в самом центре Бирмингема и при этом представляет собой более 20 га утопающего в зелени и огороженного от городской суеты пространства.
