This degree allows students to pursue an interest in a variety of related subject areas: creative writing; American literature and culture; film studies; theatre studies; journalism; mmedia and/or English; it aims to develop students creative abilities through practice and consideration of that practice; while also honing their critical understanding in the subject areas of their choice; this combination; a meeting of creative and critical practice; allows students to pursue interconnected themes and ideas within different creative and/or critical fields; or to follow through specific genre or creative practice interests; or to contrast and compare those areas across the students degree programme.
