Counselling and psychotherapy work-based action enquiry (this module is for students with APL 60 credits; an alternative to the independent study module, it is specifically focussed on reflecting and writing about clinical theory linked with practice; it can include client work or supervised practice, or a literature review linked to clinical practice); independent study (this module is a way for students to make up their APL credit; this is usually a piece of work based either on a literature review or the theoretical aspects of a case study; students are encouraged to choose a subject linked to their research interest).

This award is suitable for counsellors and psychotherapists who have completed a recognised counselling or psychotherapy training qualification, and who are working or who have worked professionally as a counsellor or psychotherapist; the course gives practising counsellors and psychotherapists an academic University based qualification to complement the professional qualification; this is a module-based distance learning supervised award which can be achieved alongside therapeutic work.

Расположение

Университету принадлежат два основных кампуса – Ньютон Парк (Newton Park) (на котором обучают всем предметам, кроме Искусства и Дизайна) и Сайон Хилл (Sion Hill) (Факультет Искусства и Дизайна университета Бат Спа). Кампус находится в ближайшем пригороде Бата. Обычно студенты перемещаются на автобусах, на которых можно доехать до центра города. Горд Бат находится всего в 15км от одного из крупнейших британских городов – Бристоля и всего в 90 минутах езды от Лондона.
