The programmes develop career prospects by providing a comprehensive study portfolio under the following themes; design studies; technical studies view student case study; management studies; students pursuing the sandwich degree normally complete a 34-week monitored placement before attending the institute for the final year; practical workshops and theory classes are backed up by talks from visiting practitioners in a variety of relevant fields; also arranged visits to locally based enterprises in the fashion design; production; sourcing and retail sectors; normally, there is an opportunity to display some of the students work publicly.
