This course is part of the framework of qualifications for people teaching in the post-compulsory sector; it is designed for people who have or are seeking a teaching role in post-compulsory education and wish to gain their initial qualifications; it is also appropriate for technicians and support staff in further and adult education as well as those who are teaching or training in the workplace; survival skills including lesson preparation, course planning, classroom management, teaching strategies and assessment are all covered.
