You will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of modules in the course of your study.
If you enter the language pathway at complete beginners' or lower intermediate level, the degree awarded will reflect this (e.g. BA Film and Media and German).
For entry levels from upper intermediate to proficiency, the degree awarded will reflect this (e.g. BA German and Film and Media).

Combine studying a modern language (French, German, Portuguese or Spanish) and its associated culture with film and media studies. Gain a thorough grounding in different areas of media study and an understanding of the ways in which the media relate to each other. Develop a critical approach, so that you can put your own and others' work in context.
