Вступительные требования

Directly relevant professional or professional-level work experience (normally 3 years minimum); or a good honours degree from a UK university or equivalent; an undergraduate or postgraduate-level diploma from a recognised UK drama school or equivalent; where English is not 1st language: IELTS score of 7.5 or above; some previous experience of theatre or live performance in its widest sense such as: events; music; outdoor performance; street arts; festivals is also required.

The course prepares students for professional roles as producers in a wide variety of theatre and live performance events, including outdoor performance and street arts; the course is practice-centred and practice-based; rooted in the present-day realities of the role of the professional creative producer, and in the essential blend of personal taste and judgement, practical skills, creative team-working, and problem-solving needed for that role.ContentThe programme is structured around 3 key areas of study and experience: The creative producer: including developing taste, awareness and judgement; exercising reflection and self-knowledge; professional development; the producer's key skills and competencies: including presentation and pitching; production finance (raising, budgeting and controlling it); contracts, rights and legislation; the producer and people: including working with creative teams; working with artists; relating to/involving audiences and communities.
