Normally good Honours degree (2.II or above) or an equivalent professional qualification; applicants with relevant work experience who lack these qualifications are be considered; English Language requirements: IELTS score 6.0 with a minimum of 5 in each subsection; TOEFL (computer-based) score 213 and 4 in essay rating (TWE); TOEFL (paper-based) score 550 and 4 in essay rating (TWE).

The term 'globalisation' embraces a range of deeply transformative political, economic and social processes; understanding presents major theoretical and practical challenges for those working or intending to work in the realms of government, business or academia; the course not only equips students to understand globalisation, but also to think in an informed manner about questions of its 'governance'; that is, how globalisation might be steered or developed in a politically and ethically satisfactory manner; the course provides knowledge and understanding not only of the key debates and perspectives upon globalisation, governance and international relations, but also of the different sectors of the emerging global political system.

Расположение

Университет расположен в 20 минутах ходьбы (нескольких автобусных остановках) от станции метро «Uxbridge», откуда можно напрямую добраться до Центрального Лондона. Обратно можно вернуться на регулярном ночном автобусе, который останавливается непосредственно возле кампуса. Сам городок Аксбридж также представляет интерес — здесь можно встретить старинные знания и новые современные торговые и коммерческие центры. В городке есть два крупных торговых центра, The Pavilions и Chimes Centre, с различными магазинами, кафе и кинотеатром на 9 залов.
