Вступительные требования

Good Honours degree (2.2) or equivalent overseas qualification and be motivated to develop a reflective understanding of the theory and practice of this complex and exciting subject area; a computing-related background may be advantageous to applicants but is not a strict requirement; alternative qualifications and or substantial industrial experience (that is relevant to the subject area) could provide eligibility to study on the course pending a satisfactory interview which might require some preparatory work for the course.

Information systems are becoming ever more central to society, especially in business and industry; as society and technology develop in parallel, the most important skills for the future lie in the development of individuals with the ability to both understand and manage these complex and interrelated systems; consequently, aspects of business that were once seen in isolation are now expected to operate as part of a seamless whole (both within and across enterprises); the aim of the programme is to develop practical skills and critical awareness in relation to the state-of-the-art in enterprise-level systems development.

Расположение

Университет расположен в 20 минутах ходьбы (нескольких автобусных остановках) от станции метро «Uxbridge», откуда можно напрямую добраться до Центрального Лондона. Обратно можно вернуться на регулярном ночном автобусе, который останавливается непосредственно возле кампуса. Сам городок Аксбридж также представляет интерес — здесь можно встретить старинные знания и новые современные торговые и коммерческие центры. В городке есть два крупных торговых центра, The Pavilions и Chimes Centre, с различными магазинами, кафе и кинотеатром на 9 залов.
