The course is designed for students who wish to explore both, interactive design and digital animation; students study these areas until their 3rd year when they may specialise if they wish; interactive design covers areas such as web design, Flash, interactive spaces such as digital installations, exhibitions etc; digital animation includes 2- and 3-dimensional animation, motion graphics, digitally treated video and is aimed at the broad creative industries; students learn a broad range of digital and where relevant non digital techniques; instead of learning 3-dimensional animation or web design in isolation, all study is focused on achieving the most creative solution to a given problem using a broad range of techniques; the course ethos is about producing highly creative, innovative and exciting work; technical skills are about enabling creativity and all delivery is aimed at solving a creative brief, not simply learning techniques.
