This course develops both analytical and practical problem solving skills; the majority of the analytical modules are studied during the first year which provides a solid foundation for the specialist modules that are undertaken during the second year; the project module is seen as a major contributor to the overall qualification as it involves a very high level of individual commitment; it also provides the knowledge and practical skills relevant to current and future work within the mechanical and manufacturing engineering industry; modules are regularly reviewed to ensure that they meet changing trends in the engineering world.
