Вступительные требования

A minimum Level 3 qualification (equivalent to NVQ 3) in the subject area proposed to teach before starting on the pathway; basic teaching qualifications such as C&G 7307, 7302 or 7407 are not entry qualifications; entry qualifications should be subject specialism related; minimum level 2 in literacy and numeracy should be achieved during the course duration; an initial assessment will be undertaken at interview stage and support provided if appropriate; applicants are required to provide a written statement from an employer confirming a minimum of 120 hours (not less than 50 in 1 year) teaching will be provided by their employer during the course; voluntary teaching/training is acceptable only in the case of those teaching/training on behalf of registered charities.

The course is suitable for serving paid teachers, lecturers or trainers in any part of the post-compulsory education and training (PCET) sector; this includes: Colleges; universities; training organisations; health trusts; various public service organisations; those with an established training function in business/commercial organisations are also eligible.
