Applicants who are interested in the M.S. in Computational Biology program at Carnegie Mellon must have graduated from a recognized four-year college, university or institute of technology, or have earned equivalent credentials. Students should have an understanding of general biology and at least familiarity with computer science. For review, the application package must be complete. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test. Applicants should score at or above the 75th percentile in the quantitative section. The minimum TOEFL score to be considered for acceptance is 84 (internet-based). Additionally, the speaking score should be at least 18. The minimum IELTS score to be considered for acceptance is 6.4. Additionally, the speaking score should be at least 6.
