Students pursue an individual interest in depth in a practical research project; explore wider contexts of theatre-making looking at some significant contemporary productions and practitioners and seeing appropriate theatre productions in London; research the practice of a company or practitioner; produce a final portfolio of work.

Вступительные требования

Degree or equivalent qualification in an arts-related subject and/or 2 years' relevant professional experience, and a good level of written and spoken English (IELTS 6.5); applicants normally participate in a day-long audition and interview, and must complete a journal during that day; applicants may be required to carry out work in advance of the interview which varies according to the strand being applied for.

The courses comprises specialist strands of study which students select to follow throughout the course; these strands are: Directing; dramaturgy; lighting design; performing, producing; puppetry and object theatre; sound design and music for performance; theatre design/scenography (set, space, costume); visual media for performance; writing for performance; students work with colleagues from other strands, exploring an integrated language of theatre and building creative teams and networks that they can rely on during the course and after graduation.
