The modules in the first year are designed to provide students with a balance of skills; knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of their subject; year two builds upon this investigation and research to develop a clear and established subject perspective; year three refines students' personal direction and research and culminates with a final exhibition.

The programme encourages and enables students to follow their individual pathway through a balanced combination of practice and theory in studio and workshop environments; students are encouraged to explore concepts and display appropriate design methodology and technology towards intelligent information that are developed and realised using advertising; graphic design; illustration; packaging; publishing; photography; television design; typography and web site design; analysis; intellect; context; craft skills and the marketplace become the major drivers towards innovative outcomes.
