The modules in the first year are designed to provide students with a balance of skills; knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of their subject; year two builds upon this investigation and research to develop a clear and established subject perspective; year three refines students' personal direction and research and culminates with a final exhibition.

This programme encourages and enables students to follow their individual pathway through a balanced combination of practice and theory in equipped studio and workshop environments; students are encouraged to explore concepts and display appropriate design methodology and technology towards intelligent objects that are developed and realised in wood; metal; plastics; ceramics and glass; analysis; intellect; context; craft skills and the marketplace become the major drivers towards innovative outcomes.
