Students spend 4 days a week in their school placement and 1 day a week participating in the core programme; t2 substantial school placements: Placement 1 in term 1 and Placement 2 in terms 2 and 3; scope for students to have 2 placements that are different in character and the experiences they will provide; students study French or French plus German/Spanish.

Degree, or equivalent, with at least 50% of degree in the chosen specialist subject; GCSE grade C in English and mathematics, or equivalent; and some experience in a secondary school environment.
