The course is concerned with designing and making sculptural furniture; artefacts and artworks for various forms of landscape and environments; both formal and natural; students are able to experience and develop skills in green woodworking; architectural ceramics; hot metal forging and many other processes to create work which engages with the landscape whether it be a garden; an urban open space or the wild, natural landscape.
