    NOTE: This program can be completed in 16 months including the Pathway program.

 

*If students have already taken Fundamentals of Accounting or equivalent, they can take Fundamentals of Finance in Semester 1, and FIN 355 or FIN 370 in Semester 2. 

**Introduction to Statistical Methods or Calculus for Physical Scientists I (or Business Communication Processes if already completed equivalent undergraduate coursework with B- or better grade earned)

***If students have already taken Fundamentals of Finance or equivalent undergraduate course with a B- or better, they can take FIN 355 or FIN 370.

Designed for students who are not able to gain admittance into a graduate program, the Graduate Pathway will prepare you for academic success by strengthening your academic, English, and GMAT/GRE skills. The CSU Graduate Pathways in Finance prepare you for a specialized, full-time program offered by the College of Business.

As a graduate of the Finance degree program at CSU, you might find work in the following areas:

  • Business planning and consultancy

  • Capital markets, trading, brokering

  • Financial analysis

  • Investment, commercial and retail banking

  • Portfolio management

  • Regulatory/compliance

  • Risk management

  • Treasury management

The CSU Graduate Pathway in Finance prepares you to enter Colorado State University's Master of Finance.
