The course reflects this forensic computing environment with their mixture of essential fundamentals, current knowledge and experience, and practical expertise; the majority of students are sponsored by their employers and continue to work for them on completion of the Master's, perhaps at a more senior level; the course is in the main designed for Law Enforcement officers, government staff, accountancy and banking organisations, corporate security personnel and members of associated agencies in both the UK and elsewhere; the PgCert usually comprises 4 modules in 1 year followed by any 2 other modules; depending on the other modules chosen, this may require students to study over a 2 year period due to timetabling restrictions; the PgDip, and the taught component of the Master's, comprise 8 modules (4 compulsory and 4 from 7 elective modules); Master's candidates must successfully complete a project in the 3rd year.
