Interview and reference plus the following: a good standard of literacy and numeracy to level 2 (GCSE/Key Skills) preferred; level 3 (A-level or equivalent) qualification in the subject to be taught; employed to teach or train for at least 150 hours during the programme which normally lasts for 2 years; nominate a subject specialist mentor for the course; the mentor supports the students from a subject specialist perspective.
