Modules include: introduction to fieldwork; psychological aesthetics; arts and social ecologies; interdisiplinarity and place; modules are delivered in 3-week intensives; students and staff work together full time, and then students develop independent projects to continue their module research.

Course provides a vehicle by which emergent arts practices can develop in the context of contemporary approaches to ecology, interdisciplinarity and place; other areas addressed include: arts practice in the ground of contemporary ecological thinking, social ecology, urban ecology, natural ecology, environmental ecology, and ecologies of mind.
