The history course focuses on exploring the history of the 19th- and 20th-centuries, including Russian, American, British, European and Indian history; the curriculum is informed by the latest research; the international relations course curriculum considers mainstream topics such as war, peace and diplomacy, and also emphasises the importance of new areas of enquiry such as: globalisation; terrorism; ethnic conflict; international and regional organisations; international ethics.
