During the course trainees spend a total of 28 weeks in 2 member schools working with pupils; the remaining 8 weeks is spent in taught sessions at the Training Centre; considerable emphasis is placed on collaborative learning, covering professional studies and subject specific theory and practice; trainees also develop a 2nd foreign language to key stage 3 level.

2:2 degree or above in a relevant subject; GCSE mathematics and English language to grade C or above.
