This programme includes SQA HNC and HND units and Dundee College subjects including mandatory units: Acting: theory, practical work and production; voice: theory, production and presentation; movement: theory, production and presentation; productions include: devising theatre; street theatre and or site specific theatre; physical theatre; three full length plays and an end of year showcase of work; students also undertake optional units, as follows: acting methods and practitioners; theatre styles; Shakespeare in practice; body and voice technique and preparation for audition; selected graduates are invited to undertake up to 14 weeks professional touring work on completion of the course.

This practical course offers a range of performance opportunities which have included collaborative work with other art forms, workshops and productions with professional actors and directors, and links into higher education and the profession through workshops with Dundee Rep and R.S.A.M.D.
